Vulcania Restaurant Brand Identity

Vulcania is a modern Italian/American restaurant on Mammoth Mountain created by celebrity chefs Bryan and Michael Voltaggio. Its name comes from the passenger voyage that brought the Voltaggio family from Italy to America—the MS Vulcania. And it’s strengthened by the fact that Mammoth Mountain is, quite literally, a dormant volcano.

To create this brand from scratch, we drew inspiration from the original voyage documents from the MS Vulcania and juxtaposed them with the theme of a volcanic eruption. The complete body of work includes a logo, brand guidelines, photography, swag, in-restaurant signage, a website, and more.
