Advanced Typography Fall 2019 SAIC
The goal was to create an identity and communication materials for a fictional global initiative geared towards giving (based on the real-world event #GivingTuesday). Through group brainstorming, we decided to rename this movement “#GoGive”, with the option of creating our own unique concept and tagline.
The tagline I chose, “We’re all neighbors”, encourages people to treat everyone in the world as their neighbors. The hashtag symbol becomes a birds-eye view of a neighborhood, and by showing the symbol in different unique typefaces, it reflects the diversity of backgrounds and cultures in different communities coming together.
